Analysis of the Organizational Linkage of Radiation Safety Management to Dental Hygienists

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the practice of radiation safety management and the organization of the dental hygienist who conducts the main duties of the radiological examination at the oral medical institution. The average number of respondents working in dental clinics and clinics in Gwangju City who answered 'yes' according to the presence of radiation safety management was 3.38, which was higher than the average of 3.05 who answered 'no'. There was a significant difference between them. In the case of the radiation environment management environment, the average was 2.98, and the facility and equipment environment for radiation safety management was 3.16 on average. Radiation safety management activities showed a statistically significant positive correlation with organization in relation to radiation safety management, the organizational atmosphere, and both the facilities and the equipment environment. Based on the results of these studies, systematic management of radiation safety management should be conducted with interest from the organization directly involved in exposure.
